Welcome! And a Giveaway!

I'm super excited about this little move I made and I'm so glad you came to check out my new blog! I absolutely love the design and it's all thanks to Lindsey at SweetSimplicity. Don't you think that she did a fabulous job?!?!

So in honor of my new blog address I'm having a little giveaway! As most of you, I'm ridiculously in love with my little puppy Maxwell:

I figured why not have a giveaway full of my favorite puppy things?!!? I have a small dog (half yorkie/half maltese) so most of these items are probably best for a pup under 20 pounds.

This giveaway will include:

  • A small Kong toy
  • A package of small ziggies for the Kong
  • A $10 Petsmart gift certificate
  • A package of natural puppy treats that I have to buy at a speciality store, but Max LOVES them
  • A paw picture tree
  • A cute little toy
  • A package of rawhides
So...you get one entry for each of the following:
  • Become of a follower
  • Blog about this giveaway on your blog
I know that so many of us in blog world seem to be such big animal lovers, so I thought it would be great to spoil someone's pet since they all love us unconditionally! You have until January 1st to enter!

  12. Just found your blog from Sweet Simplicity. Your puppy is so cute! I have a yorkie too! Just wanted to let you know that rawhides are supposed to be bad for yorkies. I don't know why but my vet told me that. So be careful.

    I'm now a follower!

  19. Looking for a way to email you but I don't see a link here. You can email me at myitaliandgrandmother@hotmail.com

Rawhides aren't 100% digestible and can cause intestinal blockage. No dogs really should chew them but it's especially bad for small dogs with tiny stomachs. You can try something called Flossies. They are all natural and I've heard them called "crack for dogs" lol. They can be 4 or 5 bucks each but if you use them sparingly it's not so bad.

  23. Maxwell is the cutest little thing and I'm sure my little doxie wouldn't mind sharing the treats and stuff with the bigger dogs! :-D

I too am a puppy raiser of assistance dogs, have raised two guide dogs in the past and am on my second service dog. Eva was trained as a service dog but was put out of the program for kidney failure so now is our loving pet. Charlie, our current puppy in training, is an 8.5 month old cream labradoodle. :-D

  24. Cassie,

Truth be told, we're all addicts! Once you raise one puppy, you just have to raise more! Thank you so much for your kind words, puppy raising is a difficult journey and we all need encouragement and for that, I want to thank you! There is something special about seeing the potential in a puppy as it grows to become more then you can give them, to help someone more then they can help you. Of course, some of them choose to just become pets, but they are some of the best pets out there! :-D
