What do you guys think? Any idea if the company is trustworthy? Think the sweater is cute enough to buy?
I'm not gonna sugar coat things here folks...I have a slight addiction I'm struggling with. I know I should stop or at least get some help, but I have no desire to quit at all...I have to get my fix EVERY SINGLE MORNING...I don't even want to think about all the money I'm throwing away on this habit...Oh, why do I have to love my Starbucks iced white chocolate mochas with no whip cream?

Clinique Happy is pretty much the only perfume I wear and I'm almost out so this gift set was much appreciated!
I asked for this movie because it has such a great message-I watched it last night!
This might be my very favorite gift! I can't wait to get started! I have to wait though because I shoveled tons of snow and I can barely move today :(
I braved the weather this morning and went to Target to return some things and to take advantage of all the Christmas stuff being 50% off! I don't usually buy anything new in terms of decorations before the holidays unless it's something I need like Christmas lights or extension cords. I usually do all my shopping right after! These are a bunch of gift boxes and bows and gift tags...
Some more gift bags, ribbon, gift tags, ornaments to tie to the ribbon on gifts...
These are HUGE ornaments that were only $2.99 a piece. I'm going to string up some garland over the garage next year and hang these in the middle!
Christmas bowls! I don't have the rest of the set, but I figure they'll look cute with a silvery charger as a place setting next year. Can you tell I'm into silver for some reason?
I couldn't pass up this little guy! I saw him full price a little over a week ago and I'm so glad they had some left for me to pick up this morning!
My parents got me these comfy house shoes so I'm not freezing when I let Max outside. (He wanted to be in every picture!)
My parents also picked up this CD for me because I'm a huge Sugarland fan! My favorite song on the CD is "Settlin'." It's sort of become my new anthem for 2010. I am tired of settling and it's time to set the bar higher in all aspects of my life!
I picked up this contact paper today while at Target. If you've been reading my blog for awhile you know I love this black and white pattern so I couldn't pass it up! Plus my cabinets smell like stain still which makes my glasses smell that way and I hate drinking out of my glasses so I hope this helps!
And this is my favorite purchase of the day!!!! It's a cupcake tower! I've been wanting one for the longest time and I just happened to stumble across it today. I guess Target considers it a holiday item because it was also 50% off! I can't wait to use it-I think my co-workers better get used to cupcakes!
So I have this niche in my dining room that I didn't know what to do with, but I think I found the perfect solution for winter! I put it together from all kinds of things at Pier One. I'm thinking that maybe I'll get a big vase and put lemons in it for Spring...
More snowy pictures!
It hasn't snowed since Christmas Eve, but the drifts have been huge! There was 3 ft of snow piled up the whole width of my driveway so I been shoveling tons of snow. I was really worried about getting out and driving today, but I made it to Target okay. I saw lots of cars in the ditches and some spin out so I was glad when I made it there safely...then I got stuck in the parking lot! I couldn't believe I made it all the way there only to get stuck :( Some really nice people gave me a push out. Once I was done shopping I just decided to come home instead of run more errands and then I got stuck in my driveway! I have this little lip you have to go over to get into the driveway and I just kept getting stuck on all the ice and not going anywhere. I had to dig myself out and I finally got the car in the driveway! I think I'm avoiding the roads for awhile...lol!

The four above are for my parents. I love fun wrapping paper so it's hard for me to only stick to a Christmas theme. I figure two out of four isn't too bad! Don't you love the zebra?
And the polka dots?
My package from UPS finally came! I got a little bottle of hand sanitizer, a key chain and a vanilla candle for all of my girlfriends. They all are personalized with the letter of their first names and I love them! The only bad part was that all three of my "a" candles and the keychain I ordered for myself were broken. The seller is awesome though and she's going to send me out replacements soon. I also got a bunch of Christmas ornaments and stuff like that for my friends so I can't wait to give everybody their presents!
This is a name plate that I got for my best friends baby. His name is Hayden (obviously-lol!) and it's going to look so cute in his nursery. His mom graduated from OSU so his nursery is all black and orange themed so this should fit right in!
I got this cute little treat jar for Max! My decorating colors are primarily red and black so this is sitting in my kitchen.
Man did we get some snow today! This is my backyard-the drifts come almost up to my waist!
More snow...poor Max won't even go out to go to the bathroom and I can tell he's miserable. I hope he doesn't have too many accidents in the house!
This is Max before the snow really picked up. You can't even see the porch at all anymore.
And finally, I colored my hair so I thought I'd throw in a picture of it-it makes me happy!
P.S. Don't forget to enter my giveaway!

And...it must be sinking into my brain because last night I dreamed that I was number 15 on his list of women. I have absolutely no clue why he starred in my dreams last night considering I don't even have the faintest bit of a celebrity crush on him, but there I was engaging in umm...well not so good behavior with Mr. Woods.
Therefore, I have to conclude that the media has drug this one on too long! I'm sick of hearing about it and certaintly don't want to spend another night scheming with Tiger on when to meet him and what fancy jewelry he can buy me...I'm appalled at myself!

Today's topic is: 'I wish' .... I could relive one particular holiday experience over and over again, and it would be going to my grandparents in New Jersey when I was little!
I lived in Hawaii from the time I was two until I turned seven. I'm not positive, but I think that we flew to my grandparents in New Jersey every single Christmas during those years. It was always so exciting for me to see my grandparents, aunts, uncle and family friends. I was the only grandchild during that time so I was completely spoiled rotton and always had someone ready to play with me! My aunts would let me walk around in their high heeled shoes and take me for manicures and my grandpa always had yummy ice cream treats for me. It was also the one time each year that I was guaranteed to see some snow! Living in Hawaii was awesome, but snow is so much fun when you're a little kid and you don't have to worry about scraping your car or driving on slick roads. The biggest thing I worried about was who was going to come outside and play with me. One year my dad built me this huge slide type thing and sometimes he would take me to the frozen lake and pull me around on a sled. Those truly were great times!
That's all for me, but I hope you participate!

I have this amazing home. Not only are my most basic shelter needs being met, they are being completely exceeded. I absolutely love my home. It was a long process starting with choosing the plans and then watching as it got built step by step, but it was totally worth it. I just sit in the living room and look around and I can't believe how lucky I am.
I have a great family. My parents always let me know that they care about it me and want the best for me. I know without a doubt that everything good in me comes from them. They taught me my values and the difference between right and wrong and I only hope I can do the same with my children one day. I love them so much and as I get older I'm becoming so much more aware then I want to be, that they too are getting older. I can't imagine not having them in my life and want to truly make the most of the time we get here one earth.
I have a job that allows me to pay the bills and I enjoy. It's rare that you come across both. While this isn't my dream job, I certaintly can't complain about having a job in this economy. And I've made friends here, that I never would have met had I not had to re-evaluate my plans and take a step out of my comfort zone.
I know that most 24 year olds wouldn't think of their health as much as I do. But, most 24 year olds haven't been told by so many people that they are lucky to be alive. Right after I had all those complications with my appendix rupturing, I spent LOTS of time in the hospital and I would hear how lucky I was daily. At first it shocked me because I couldn't really comprehend how serious the situation was. I focused on getting through day by day and my family made me feel safe and loved. As I sit here thinking back about that time in life, I remember my dad holding my hand one night and asking me not to die and my mom crying when the doctors would talk to her. 2007 was really hard on me and my family and I'm soooo thankful that I'm here today. I go about daily life and forget that I wasn't really supposed to be here today. That God decided to keep me here for some reason when medical science says I shouldn't have gotten to experience my 22nd birthday with my family, much less be getting to turn 25 next April, is absolutely mind blowing to me. I used to sit in the hospital and make all kinds of promises to myself-I would never take life for granted, I would find my purpose and pursue it with a passion, etc. It's hard to maintain that kind of motivation when you're no longer sitting in a hospital bed. I don't want to ever forget though, because I am truly blessed.

- I spilled coffee down the entire front of my shirt on the way to work today. Thankfully it was iced coffee and not hot, but the huge stains I have running down my shirt are to say the least a bit ridiculous.
- I have decided to use my coffee stained shirt as an excuse to run up to the mall and buy a new shirt...I'm thinking something from J-Crew or Ann Taylor...
- I worked until 10pm last night and feel like I never really left this place
- I still haven't put Christmas lights on the house or brought out my tree...and...I'm seriously considering paying someone to put up the lights. How lazy is that!?!?
- I downloaded the "Lose It" application for my iphone and I'm pretty darn excited about it. What I'm not excited about is that I've already used nearly 500 calories this morning, which leaves me at less than a thousand for lunch, snack and dinner. Which is totally doable, but extremely hard when I'll be at the mall and pizza starts calling me name.
- I also downloaded the grocery gadget ap and it's fabulous!
- My puppy was feeling kind of sick, but thankfully he seemed to start feeling so much better last night!
- I weighed myself this morning in only a bra and panties...which would have been fine had I chosen to do that in a room that had curtains or blinds. Instead I just hoped my neighbors wouldn't decide to look out their window that directly faces my guest bathroom where I banished the scale.
- I'm going to see New Moon next Saturday!
Alrighty, I think that's enough with the bullets-have a great day girls!
